There’s a military guard assigned to each Indigenous village - put there to intimidate Indigenous locals into silence as they watch their land and their future slip away.

But they are fighting back anyway - risking their lives to resist the government’s violent megadeforestation project, which will impact up to 50,000 Indigenous people and destroy globally important conservation areas.

Let’s honor their courage with a global avalanche of voices pushing the government stop the project now: Indonesian leaders have worked hard to build an environmentally friendly image abroad, and our partners say a million voices demanding justice could cause them to back off.
